Apple has released the public betas for the next versions of iPhone, Mac, iPad, and Apple Watch software.
Apple has released the public betas for iOS 18, iPadOS 18, macOS Sequoia, watchOS 11, and tvOS 18. The updated iPhone, iPad, and Mac operating systems will include Apple Intelligence AI features and an improved Siri, available on compatible devices.
The iOS 18 beta introduces key updates such as RCS messaging support, customizable home screens, a new Photos app layout, and a redesigned Control Center. The iPadOS 18 beta includes similar features and adds a native Calculator app. Apple Intelligence features will be released in future betas and will be limited to the iPhone 15 Pro, Pro Max, and M1 and up Macs and iPads.
The watchOS 11 beta brings features like rest days and the Vitals app for health metrics. The macOS Sequoia beta allows iPhone mirroring on Mac screens, and the tvOS 18 beta includes an Amazon X-Ray-like InSight feature for Apple TV Plus content.
While most devices can roll back to a stable version, the Apple Watch cannot. Users must wait for the stable version in the fall. You can try the public betas by enrolling in the Apple beta program. Check Apple’s website for installation instructions for each device.
