Aviatra Accelerators, a Cincinnati-based non-profit organization focused on providing business training to women entrepreneurs, has received $216,000 from the Ohio Third Frontier Commission through the Dayton Entrepreneurs’ Center. The funding is intended to be utilized for the expansion of the organization’s programs in the Dayton region over the next three years.
Aviatra Accelerators has been assisting women entrepreneurs in various industries such as manufacturing and technology through its education and resources programs. The organization aims to utilize the funds from the state to cover the operational costs of reaching more businesses with education and resources in the Dayton region.
Jill Morenz, President of Aviatra Accelerators, emphasized the importance of bringing the programs directly to the women entrepreneurs who require them. She stated, “We have found that it’s really important to bring the programming to where the students are. So, we are taking our boot camp and our workshops out to surrounding areas in Dayton.”
