As Greek physician Hippocrates’ once said, “Let food be thy medicine and let thy medicine be food.” The philosophy of Sandra Millward, Certified Nutritionist, and Orthomolecular practitioner, is to create homeostasis (natural balance) in every person she works with by aligning the body, mind, and spirit.
As a holistic nutritionist, Sandra is committed to helping people reach their full potential and achieve the healthiest lifestyle possible. To create personalized programs for her clinical one-on-one clients, she combines science, nutritional assessment tools, and her extensive experience and knowledge in her field.
“When I became a nutritionist, I was clear that I wished to work with clients who were already healthy but wanting to take themselves to the next level of well-being,” Sandra said. “My process involves acknowledging biochemical weaknesses to create individualized, nutrition-dense plans for health seekers alike. Not every body is the same!”
Athletes Were A Large Part of Sandra’s Work
As a clinical practitioner and international traveling nutritionist, Millward was hired as a sports nutritionist for a national athletic team. After working with high-level athletes for several years, she witnessed first-hand experience the benefits of elevated nutrition.
Sandra was lucky to see the results of her program manifest because, for only the second time in Canadian history, the men’s national field hockey team qualified for the Olympics twice in a row. This is a huge achievement that Sandra is incredibly proud of, as her efforts and dedication played a major role in the team’s success. “This was a big science test. Fuel in – results out,” she said.
As the team’s nutritionist chef for eight years, Sandra accompanied the team internationally to Buenos Aires, Argentina, Cape Town, South Africa, London, France, and Trinidad, where she saw healthy nutrition. Since word of mouth has traveled, Millward has been hired by several organizations and sports teams to assist them with improving their athletes, whether lecturing, educating, or touring with them.
Vision and Mission of the Company
Her company’s mission, Radiate Wellness, has been to promote health and well-being within corporations wishing to develop a healthy corporate culture. Returning from Covid was an entirely new experience for the nutritionist. Hundreds of people have attended Sandra’s lectures on Vitality, Longevity, and Six Weeks to Wellness, including Deloitte, Independent Schools of British Columbia, Vancouver Aboriginal Child and Family Services Society, Dentist, and Law offices, as well as private, exclusive clients seeking personal health coaching. Ultimately, her goal is to help you radiate your wellness to the rest of the world. “The world needs more glow,” Sandra said.
