Her Forward Verified Profile

From the time she served as the co-captain of the MIT solar car team, Kristin knew that with ingenuity, perseverance, and passion for providing sustainable end-to-end EV solutions she could become a thought leader within the industry. During her time at EY as the company’s Executive Director of Automotive Transportation Mobility, Kristin became the company’s most quoted automotive expert, speaking at several events on the integration of blockchain and automotive technologies.

Her knowledge of the industry allowed her to rapidly scale EY’s future of mobility business model, skyrocketing revenue from $0 to $20M globally in the first year. During her tenure at these automotive giants and now in her current role as CIO of ParkMyFleet, Kristin works to improve the adoption of electric vehicles, developing strategies that enhance performance and sustainability. Her projects predominantly involve converting fleets to more sustainable propulsion sources, grids to independent sustainable microgrids with batteries, assessing current infrastructure, identifying barriers preventing mass adoption from consumers, and maximizing the efficiency, durability, and driving range of EVs. As a woman in STEM, Kristin has worked to mentor and uplift other women in her industry, promoting gender equity and empowering a new generation of female leaders to break the glass ceiling. Her leadership has always involved inclusivity, equality, and creating pathways for women to thrive in a traditionally male-dominated industry.

At Chrysler, Kristin met with all 147 women in the powertrain department individually, seeing how she could help improve their work experience, give advice, and develop a personal connection. In her field, Kristin has roles as a leader, a mentor, and an active board member for several organizations, including Comstock Inc., Thirdware, Road.Travel, and the Michigan Council of Women in Technology, URB Institute at the University of Michigan and UM-Sustainable Mobility Accessibility Research and Transformation (SMART). Kristin has spoken at several notable events and conferences, including the 2022 AICPA National Dealership Conference and IARA – The International Automotive Remarketers Alliance Summer Roundtable.
