Before starting the company in 2018, Margaret held marketing, sales and account management positions in the Greater Myrtle Beach Area. She has served as an ambassador for the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce and Myrtle Beach Regional Economic Development Corporation as well as on the Planning Committee for Coastal Carolina University’s Women in Philanthropy and Leadership (WIPL). She has helped plan and organize events for American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life, SOS Health Care’s Substitutes for Santa, Children’s Miracle Network and American Red Cross.

Margaret was a finalist for ‘Young Professional of the Year’ award in 2017 by the Grand Strand Young Professionals organization in Myrtle Beach. She also received a Jefferson Award in 2020 for her philanthropy and community service, awarded by Multiplying Good as a ChangeMaker. Twelve31 Media has received numerous Readers’ Choice Awards by My Horry News for ‘Best Advertising Agency,’ ‘Best PR/Marketing Firm,’ and ‘Best Graphic Design Company.’

In addition to her passion for helping her clients reach their goals, Margaret enjoys traveling around the world with her husband Daniel, trying new restaurants, swimming, going to the beach, watching horror movies, and cheering on her South Carolina Gamecocks.
