This camera builds on Ring’s second-gen Indoor Cam, offering 1080p HD video, color night vision, two-way talk, a built-in siren, and a physical privacy cover. The standout feature is its motorized base, which lets you adjust the camera’s angle and rotate it 360 degrees via the Ring app. The camera comes with a 10-foot USB-C cable and two mounts, allowing you to minimize blind spots in your home.
However, to access advanced features like person detection, rich notifications, and recorded video, you’ll need to subscribe to a Ring Protect plan, starting at $4.99 per month. Without a plan, the camera only offers motion alerts and a live video feed.
