Dyson has announced its second pair of headphones, the $499.99 OnTrac, which emphasize customization over the air purification feature of their predecessor, the Dyson Zone.

The OnTrac headphones offer replaceable ear cushions and outer caps, allowing for over 2,000 customization options. The headband, pivoting gimbal arms, and joystick controls are similar to the Zone, but the OnTrac omits the air purifier. Available in four colorways, users can mix and match colors for a personalized look.

Dyson claims the OnTrac delivers “best-in-class” noise cancellation with an eight-microphone system. They boast a 55-hour battery life, surpassing competitors like Apple, Bose, and Sony, though slightly below the 60-hour Sennheiser Momentum 4. The headphones feature 40-millimeter drivers for a wide frequency range and support SBC, AAC, and LDHC Bluetooth codecs.

A collapsible carrying case is included, though it offers limited protection against water and dirt. Dyson aims for broader appeal with the OnTrac, combining unique style with high-quality sound and ANC capabilities.
